edit: I noticed this has been going around tumblr, and people are literally bashing it because of the ammount of folds. I accept critique as long as it's not obnoxious and just plain rude. I NEVER said this was the right way to draw folds whatsoever. Ever. I even stated it here. It's right over there, but I guess people don't take their time to read the artist's comments. I was just kindly trying to show the people who asked how I usually draw folds. Not only people bashed this tutorial, but they also browsed my gallery and just said every single artwork of mine is wrong. Again, it is a STYLISTIC choice of mine. And I'm not a professional artist. I'm still learning. As I said, I love constructive critique, but being rude is in a whole other level. Just clearing this out.
Gosh, since artblock got me good, I thought I'd do something real quick to show you guys how I usually do the cloth folding on my drawings. I got asked about that a lot, so I hope this helps
This is not 100% accurate, it's just the way I found to shade clothes in a nice and easy method. And I'm really sorry for my crappy handwritting, so just let me know if you can't read something and I'll gladly reply to you Sai PaintTool
